[读书笔记] 丁尼生 《尤利西斯》 节选

本杰明格雷厄姆八十岁生日爬梯上对儿孙们做了个演讲,演讲最后以这一段诗作结尾。这首诗是写老年的,不过我看了后觉得很受激励,就抄录下来以作自勉:* m/ k1 t- k. Z* e3 Z% D

* s1 @, K" z/ W  b# Y( m'Tis not too late to seek a newer world.- c, l) B' s6 t: o: i* v2 \
. ]) j+ z- l  s3 k$ t4 H" P! y) G
Push off, and sitting well in order smite
% ?: P* i. Q) b- S- y4 i8 @3 @ ) J3 O% _- n6 K' H8 g3 ]
The sounding furrows; for my purpose holds
. Y% D: m# v1 F. @, l& }
) L8 i6 h* a' u( q; ]  TTo sail beyond the sunset, and the baths# K: ?& [; X0 O# [
9 B& {6 K3 S$ U
Of all the western stars,until I die.
