[读书笔记] 丁尼生 《尤利西斯》 节选

本杰明格雷厄姆八十岁生日爬梯上对儿孙们做了个演讲,演讲最后以这一段诗作结尾。这首诗是写老年的,不过我看了后觉得很受激励,就抄录下来以作自勉:& W% b7 \8 W2 y/ w! @- i

'Tis not too late to seek a newer world.; L$ J. w8 p* |& h' U( L4 _3 |

2 l; Z; f4 C4 ?* o1 _% mPush off, and sitting well in order smite

  ^' c/ ?/ j' f8 L, O4 t, fThe sounding furrows; for my purpose holds, ~2 X7 f7 I! G- W  j8 J

0 m* N( Q' O0 _. n( E& DTo sail beyond the sunset, and the baths

Of all the western stars,until I die.
