本杰明格雷厄姆八十岁生日爬梯上对儿孙们做了个演讲，演讲最后以这一段诗作结尾。这首诗是写老年的，不过我看了后觉得很受激励，就抄录下来以作自勉：

7 n* \- s1 H5 g: {'Tis not too late to seek a newer world.
( x+ T1 F6 Q2 M# h8 l9 C: a0 |
Push off, and sitting well in order smite
; j  O* C3 r1 K2 r; \$ |1 C0 V
The sounding furrows; for my purpose holds

2 j7 v- @/ |4 p+ T0 e4 Q9 T6 C7 F! L2 ZTo sail beyond the sunset, and the baths

Of all the western stars，until I die.
