5 ~5 E" \3 J5 Y3 I8 N前10里只有狄更斯（远大前程、Bleak House（中文译名是什么？）、大卫·科波菲尔）和萨克雷（名利场）是男作家，其他都是女的：乔治·艾略特（本名Mary Ann Evans，用男性化的笔名）、弗吉尼亚·沃尔芙、勃朗特姐妹、玛丽·雪莱。算入前20的话，也有一半是女作家的作品，加上简·奥斯汀。全部100部作品中，也有40%是女作家的作品。只有狄更斯（远大前程、Bleak House）、大卫·科波菲尔、Dombey and Son）、奥斯汀（傲慢与偏见、爱玛、Persuasion、感觉与情感）、沃尔芙（To The Lighthouse、Mrs Dalloway、The Waves、Orlando）有四部作品入选，又是两个女作家。这是相当高的女作家比例。
