No one was hurt in a Tuesday afternoon fire which started in the attic of the March Road home.
Around 4:30 p.m., the Tallahassee Fire Department
responded to a house fire in the 1100 block of March Road, said Mike Bellamy,
spokesman for the fire department. Firefighters forced entry. The home was empty
at the time of the fire. One firefighter suffered minor injuries; he was treated
on scene and released.
The fire is still under investigation. Damage from
the fire is estimated at $60,000.
Chaires-Capitola Volunteer Fire Department
also responded and assisted with operations.
