Leaf report: 10/21/22 - just south of Asheville on the parkway, at the lower elevations, some areas of nice color.  Further on, at the higher elevations, it was pretty, but definitely past peak.  Many years, this area would still have lots of color.

This fall has been a whirlwind. It has went by so fast. I am so lucky for the moments I have had. This is by far one of the greatest photography moments I have ever had! A Brocken Spectre and a fogbow with fall leaves on Grandfather Mountain standing on the Mile high bridge watching its shadow in the scene♡ My heart exploded! I just kept staring taking in every second of this phenomenon! My first time witnessing it. It honestly could have been more perfect!

Who doesn’t love tunnels? These brilliant leaves really adorned the “Little Switzerland Tunnel” off the Blue Ridge Parkway. ~ When I think of tunnels I think of the passing of ones life into the afterlife. We all will cross through that particular tunnel unless the King comes for us first. In life, we prepare for many things. Are you prepared to cross through to the other side? Cross through..is exactly what I am talking about here. By the cross Jesus died for you and me. Jesus says that he is the only door into the Kingdom of God. Jesus would know because he is God’s only son and he paid the ultimate sacrifice on our account. He bridged the gap so that we could “Cross on through to the other side”. Accept this free gift today. It’s not about Religion but a honest relationship with Jesus. Amen?! Autumn Aura

Autumn colors and evening sunlight highlighting the ridges in the Great Smoky Mountains along the southern end of the Blue Ridge Parkway near Cherokee, North Carolina. It's always a treat to see the warm sunlight breaking through the clouds and streaking down in light rays through the famous blue haze that the Blue Ridge and Great Smoky Mountains are known for, and if you're lucky enough to see it during the vibrant colors at the peak of fall foliage the experience is something you'll never forget.  I hope y'all enjoy this new image, and feel free to share it if you did
