Wang Hongwen, the youngest member of the "Gang of Four," died August 3, 1992. Born a poor peasant, he became a steelworker and was a leader of the 1967 Shanghai Commune rising to Deputy Chairman of the Chinese Communist Party party until his arrest after Mao's death. #OTD #China
