On my days off I loved to wander around the valley looking for interesting viewpoints that I hadn't captured before. I was walking around the Ahwahnee Hotel the morning after a snowstorm and snapped this shot with the cliffs behind the hotel. The quiet after a snowstorm was a great change of pace from the hustle of the summer season.
This has become one of my proudest photos since it was chosen as a banner image for the Yosemite Association's Donor Page a few years ago.
