Xr Italian dentists use a gold wire for teeth. In ancient Egypt, gold was considered as the skin (flesh) of the gods, especially of the sun god Ra. For this reason, the precious metal was available only for the pharaohs, members of their families and priests. The cages containing the royal sarcophagus are called the "golden house".
The ancient Greeks believed that gold was a dense combination of water and sunlight. The Incas called gold the "Tears of the Sun." This metal was believed to be a gift to humans from the Sun God. In 560 BC. the Lydians mint the world's first gold coin. It is true that it is not made of pure gold, but of electrum - an alloy of gold and silver. Globally, the use of gold coins began after the conquest of Lydian lands by the Persians. |
