As I See It:

Why is it that the West is so preoccupied with demonizing China? The usual answer is that China's economic growth is challenging Western global hegemony which has held sway for at least 250 years if not longer. The Chinese military has also reached parity with that of the West, so it is no longer subject to Western intimidation and bullying. All that is true, and sufficient reason for the West to want to savage China and portray it as the root of all evil.

But there is one other consideration that must be taken into account. It's not only China's economic prowess and military might that frightens the West, it is also China's success as a nation versus the West's failure.

Moreover, China has forged a society in which there is harmony between its different ethnicities in contrast to the systemic racism that characterizes Western society.

Western ruling elites and their media mouthpieces do not want to acknowledge the fact that China has eliminated extreme poverty while more and more of their own people descend into poverty. They do not want to admit that China has constructed a 21st century infrastructure while they lag far behind. They do not want to confront the fact that the Chinese people ⁹overwhelmingly support their government while people in the West have lost confidence in their own, they do not want to accept that China beat COVIDC-19 while they haven't, and finally they are loathe to accept the fact that a non-white nation has out performed them and will continue to do so into the foreseeable future.

In order to deflect attention away from these truths the West has concocted a series of lies and slanders that allow them to deny Chinese reality. Instead of poverty alleviation the West imagines "genocide." Instead of the advances in HSR, EVs, alt-energy and e-commerce they focus on "IP theft," instead of a socioeconomic system that serves the people, they accuse China of forced labor and forced sterilizations. Instead of seeing China as defending its national sovereignty in the South China Sea, Hong Kong and Taiwan, it's called an aggressor.

All the China-bashing serves multiple purposes but one of the main reasons is to make sure that people in the West do not get to hear about or see what the real China is all about because if they did they may get ideas that the Western elites don't want then to have, such as socialism works for the betterment of the 99% while capitalism works primarily to enrich the 1%.

U.S. Beats War Drums Over China
Oct. 24 (EIRNS)—The State Department on Oct. 23 announced a new major provocation against China in regard to Taiwan, which is and always has been an integral part of China. A statement from the State Department spokesman said that “the American Institute in Taiwan and the Taipei Economic and Cultural Representative Office (TECRO) convened high-level representatives of the U.S. Department of State and the Taiwan Ministry of Foreign Affairs for a virtual forum on expanding Taiwan’s participation at the United Nations and in other international fora.”                                       
        This follows testimony earlier in the week from Nicholas Burns, whom the Biden Administration has designated to become the new Ambassador to China, claiming that the U.S. has “enormous latitude” to expand military and diplomatic relations with Taiwan, under the incredible excuse that Beijing has reneged on the “One Country, Two Systems” agreement with the U.S., when in 2019 it helped the Hong Kong government repel the mobs of black-hooded arsonists and terrorists unleashed on the city by their sponsors in the U.S. and British regime- change institutions, including the National Endowment for Democracy (NED) and Soros’s Open Society Foundations.
The State Department statement reports that the U.S.-Taiwan meeting “focused on supporting Taiwan’s ability to participate meaningfully at the UN and contribute its valuable expertise to address global challenges, including global public health, the environment and climate change, development assistance, technical standards, and economic cooperation. U.S. participants reiterated the U.S. commitment to Taiwan’s meaningful participation at the World Health Organization and UN Framework Convention on Climate Change and discussed ways to highlight Taiwan’s ability to contribute to efforts on a wide range of issues.”
The Chinese response was immediate and intense. The Global Times editorial today, titled “U.S. Will Humiliate Itself Challenging UN Resolution 2758, Undermining one-China Principle,” asserts that the Biden Administration has joined with the current Tsai Ing-wen government in Taiwan claiming itself to be a sovereign state, which, if acted upon with the backing of the U.S., would almost certainly lead to war with China—a war which the U.S. could not win, or worse, may choose to use nuclear weapons.
The Global Times editorial includes the wording of the 1971 UN Resolution 2758, which is important to remember: “[T]he representatives of the Government of the People’s Republic of China are the only lawful representatives of China to the United Nations.” It “decides to expel forthwith the representatives of Chiang Kai-shek [the government of Taiwan at that time, which claimed to be the government of all China—ed.] from the place which they unlawfully occupy at the United Nations and in all the organizations related to it.” President Tsai’s Democratic Progresive Party (DPP) claims that this does not preclude Taiwan joining the UN as a separate country, but, the editorial states, it is clearly “an attempt by Washington to fundamentally challenge the one-China principle, trying to break the political status quo of the Taiwan question.”
The editorial goes on: “The current U.S. government is the most incapable and degenerate in the country’s history. The U.S.’ national strength has greatly lost its relative advantage, so the cards of trade and human rights Washington plays to counter China have almost no effect at all. Meanwhile, the military deterrence from the Chinese mainland is also containing the Taiwan card the U.S. plays. The U.S. then has come to this cheap shot as a ‘new weapon’ to launch an alternative offensive against China…. It is important to note that the U.S. is not so powerful that whatever it says will be effectively enforced…. The vast majority of countries in the world clearly understand what the one-China principle is and whether the island of Taiwan is qualified to seek an equal presence with sovereign states in the UN. Although the U.S. has influence, it can manipulate only some of its allies, not the UN.”

Today soldiers are more educated, more intelligent.

They are not robots obeying orders just to kill the enemies.

What will be the mindsets of US soldiers and China soldiers in time of wars?

China soldiers are fully committed to defend their motherland, especially knowing China was under centuries of humiliation, attacked by the western power.

China soldiers feel motivated by their leader, Xi Jinping, who uplifted 800 million from poverty, who protects China from virus pandemic.

They will sacrifice their lives courageously when facing their enemies.

What about US soldiers?

Intelligent US soldiers see US bombing and killing innocents in so many countries, while America is never being attacked.

How do they feel? Do they feel committed and courageous to kill in wars declared by US government?

What do US soldiers see about their US presidents?

Did these changing president every 4 years really care about the Americans, in the midst of so many homeless, no Medicare, become poorer and poorer, and never ending "I cannot breathe", endless discrimination and racialism, and no one is responsible for 46 million Covid cases and more than 756,00 death?

What if the US soldiers do no feel the sense of loyalty to America (What is worth to be loyal about?) , can they really fight and win any war?

If you hear the phrase "China's debt trap diplomacy..." for a certain country, ask yourself what has the US done in terms of building infrastructure and what China is doing.
The China-Laos high-speed railway is now complete. The first passenger train is being delivered in October 2021. This is a tangible example of how China contributes to the world and to developing countries which stands in stark contrast to the wars, interference, and subversion carried out by the West.

Under UN 2758, UN only recognised PROC as the only legitimate Government of China, not ROC.
Taiwan was expelled from the UN in 1971.

How come United Nations allows space for an ignorant girl like Greta?

Recent G20 summit western leaders shout & make commiment on climate change, a big show.

And Joe Biden is disappointed China & Russia leaders not attending the summit.

But being democratic countries, meaning every 4-5 years leaders change, newly elected leader like Donald Trump can ignore the summit pledge.

What a waste of time!

Greta is ignorant about how China has been turning deserts to greenland, investing massively in solar energy, & she considers these have nothing to do with climate change.

Is Malaysia 黄明志 Namewee as ignorant as Greta, not knowing the trurth in China & uses his song to spread western propaganda against China ?

Why the U.S. is adopting such a belligerent stance wrt to China today? A personal musing.
From environmental issues, CO²emission, coal over dependent, Taiwan cross straits issue, South China Sea claims dispute, human rights, technology theft, trade & commerce (e.g., Huawei 5G), digital Yuan and its exchange rate valuation,  Xinjiang, etcetera, etcetera, the U.S. is employing all sorts of unsavoury tactics in its strategic plan to undermine, provoke and contain China's rise as a global power.  U.S. can hardly suppress its ingrained predisposition to not allow any nation or people to be better than them in any aspect(s) of human endeavour. That's why their unrelenting and vigorous campaign of myth-making, fabrications, wicked disinformation to distract, confound, ensnare and, ultimately, to allure and induce other countries to join its orbit of influence, vainglorious hubris and hegemonistic tendency. Including its much fantasised delusion of ever lasting greatness and grandeur. In other words, their historic assertion of the supremacy of the ideals (& virtues) - for a large part of their 200-plus-year history , yes or true, but since one or two decades ago, no longer true - of democracy, human rights and freedom of choice ( i.e., the so-called individual pursuit of happiness & liberty), have been unrealistically overrated, abused and gradually but increasingly unfulfilled ( i.e., hollowed fact of life). As prime examples, just observe their outdated, dilapidated infrastructures, esp., rails, roads, expressways, bridges; internal political, ethnic, social class divisions; seemingly irreconcilable, disparate ideologies, power play of vested interest groups, societal groups increasingly acute rends, fractious discontent, random incidents of shooting & terrorist act, , etc, etc.  Hence, finding scapegoats and other red herrings as a natural escape hatch is not at all too stunning a surprise.

US is rapidly eating Australia's lunch as Australia's food exports to China the largest food market fell by 8.3% to 7.1 billion dollars in 2021 from 9.6 billion dollars in 2020 while US food export to China doubled from 4.76 billion  dollars in 2020 to 9.05 billion dollars in 2021.

What's surprising is that US has been promising Australia to help fight China's ban on  some of Australians products like wine, meat, timber, lobster and coal which has emboldened prime minister Scott Morrison to continue its anti China rhetoric.

Tensions between China and Australia continue even though trade between two countries have also continued in some sectors like iron ore and natural gas and it remains to be seen when the two countries will resolve their disputes because Chinese leaders have refused to pick up phone calls from Australia even though Scott Morrison says he is ready to talk by phone to his Chinese counterpart.

What is surprising is that China's president Xi Jinping has talked to Newzealand prime minister Jacinda Ardern and promised to attend the APEC meeting which will be hosted by Newzealand.
