When I was in Iceland I heard people been snorkeling at Silfra. Which is advertised as a connection point of two tectonic plates.

The idea somehow inspired me to creat a place that doesn’t exist and really connects two worlds: old and a new one via oceans.

So, here it is: Iceland and California connected via both Pacific and Atlantic oceans.

In order to male black sand beach more recognizable I added my aerial shot of the the DC3 plane.
