Happy one week anniversary to @sannimccandless! Our families have all left and the dust has settled and we’re officially married. Hard to believe, but pretty exciting.
No honeymoon this year since there’s still a pandemic, borders are closed, and the entire American West seems to be on fire. Instead we’re enjoying a “home-eymoon” - staying local and doing what we can. The National Forests in the entire Tahoe Basin are closed due to fire risks so we’ve had to look for other ways to get out. Today we found this little gem of a boulder (I carefully checked that it wasn’t on Forest Service land). We were lucky that it rained a little this morning and cleared out some smoke (but it was also so warm that I climbed in my boxers because I forgot shorts). What an unusual year, 2020 just keeps unfolding...
