Been a lifelong Beretta fan. 20 years ago, I traded all of my firearms in and bought a Les Paul (amongst many other guitars). Back in March, I decided to get another guitar (like I needed it). Waited until the weekend.......Covid hit! Guitar stores closed. So I decided to take up an old hobby.
Started perusing websites, to see what Id missed out on in the 2 decades away. I come across the APX...........instant love!!!! Went on a search, at all the local places......"Out Of Stock"! Heart broken.
Finally, found an APX Carry at Scheels. It wasnt the full size I wanted so badly, but it sufficed. Amazing gun! Accurate. Great size for conceal carry. Became my EDC. So use to it, I dont even know its in my waist band half the time.
Started a nationwide search, for the full size, and nada. So I ended up buying several others (HK45, XDm, AR15) to tide me over. Never stopped searching.
Went into Scheels Friday, to check ammo availability, and BOOM! Guess what they were putting in the display case?!? I wasnt even in the store 3 minutes, and was already filling out forms for it lol. Apparently, they had it for a couple months, it was just lost in the back room, and had never made their inventory list lol. Want to talk about ecstatic!
Took it out Sunday and ran 200 rounds through it. Flawless. Accurate. Amazing quality for the price. Came home and tore her down and cleaned her. Popped up Beretta site, and ordered the OD Green frame. Ordered one for the Carry too! Should be in Friday. Cant wait! Threaded barrel is next. Its definitely my favorite! Now to find a holster........
