"Pastel Tide"

Sometimes it’s hard to abandon the ideas that we have in our mind.

Here at the (in)famous Vestrahorn, the classic composition is what the majority of the photographer is after. And honestly, on that summer evening a simple composition was what I was looking for too; just a plain reflection with some nice skies over the mountain.

Unfortunately though, as soon as I arrived, big clouds took over the big fella in front of me and when I realized there were 0 chances of getting the shot I had in mind, I had to re-look at the place again with different eyes and search if there were other scenes worth to shot.. And here she was: a further mountain along the coast with pastel sunset colors and some nice sand textures!
