They later settled their differences when Rose realized how similar the pair actually was.

Axl Rose, born William Bruce Rose Jr. on February 6, 1962, in Lafayette, Indiana, is an American singer-songwriter, and record producer. He is known for being the lead vocalist in the rock band Guns N’ Roses and has been the only band’s constant member since they formed in 1985. The band’s first album titled ‘Appetite for Destruction’ (1987) sold an excess 30 million copies worldwide and is the best-selling debut with 18 million units sold in the US. Rose was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2012, even though he declined to attend the event and wanted to be excluded from the hall.

David Robert Jones, also known as David Bowie, was born January 8, 1947, in Brixton, South London. He was a British singer-songwriter and actor, who became a leading figure in the music industry; being described as one of the most influential musicians of the 20th century. His record sales hit around 140 million albums worldwide, which made him one of the best-selling artists of all time. His androgynous alter ego, Ziggy Stardust made Bowie extremely well-known and made him really stand out throughout the glam rock era of the 1970s. |
